Some photography i made of my newest piece in different places around my flat to see where i might want to place my work for the degree show. I really like number one and too, they are most effective looking.

These are more paintings in my usual technique, the last one - sheep has pompoms instead of the frame to remind of the softness of the sheep. I like the fact it reminds of the patterns in the painting too.

So, this is my firs try to combine painting and sculpture by using beads. Also, i really like the fact its photographed on a windowsill, it gives the work something else, something interesting.

An abstract piece i made trying to mix in some sculpture/ installation into my painting work. The hanging thing is something like a keyring that i used to wear on my bag for quite a while, so it is a very personal thing.

Christmas present - Liquid metal

A little piece i made as a present that i have called liquid metal.

These are 2 new works that i made using halves of tickets i had saved from summer. I went to a classic music festival and started saving tickets from everyone i know. These pieces are called Art is Infinite, hence the infinity sign. I sort of wanted to combine music and painting in them.

Art show in Moscow - Natalia Gontcharova

In Moscow i went to an amazing show - 300 works by Natalia Gontcharova that included paintings, drawings, illustrations, costume designs and even some clothes made on base of her designs.

One of the best shows i have seen in a long time! Fantastic colours, beautiful subjects and so much passion!

Unfortunately, in most of Russian museums photography is prohibited and the only thing i can offer you to see is a scan of the brochure from the show and my ticket...
